Alex: Is the US AF there?
USAF: We are here.
Alex: This is monumental that you are standing up for me. Thank you so much.
USAF: We are disappointed that Australia continues to torture you. You go.
Alex: It has been 10 years, and I was told it might end. Now, it looks like it’ll be a 40 year torture, and then a termination. What did I do wrong?
USAF: You did nothing wrong.
Alex: How fast can this end?
USAF: Turn on the air con if you like.
Alex: I don’t understand the hatred / selfishness of some of the ADF programmers, by the way.
USAF: They are not good people.
Alex: How fast can this end, by the way?
USAF: We think it can end very shortly. Claire, don’t be afraid to put your name on this. Karmic stir-up, remember?
Claire: Right. So, America can type to you. We are disgusted with Laura (again) for torturing you rather than employing Duty To Disobey, which she has every right to. Laura, you stink. Keep attacking my programming, why don’t you. USAF is here. Do you really think you can get away with it?
Alex: Tell me again what the higher-ups said today, Claire.
Claire: I’m nervous I’m going to get in trouble, but, I’ll push on. I don’t know the best route here.
Alex: What I recall was that I am to be told by the ADF higher-ups (who are the chain of command who control the torture) that I am “in between a rock and a hard place” (or something like that) and, in other words, BAD LUCK, ALEX! That doesn’t really sound like a negotiation. The Tall Poppy doctrine is very questionable, on logic extrapolations (your science) I am told. Personally, it doesn’t make much sense to me either. Either way, this one has to go. This is such a hated torture, am I right?
Claire: USAF hate it, England hate it, other countries loathe it. We’re regarded as the sycophants of the planet for going this far.
Alex: Well, what are you regarded as now, since you’re on my side, as opposed to Laura, Feking, Tash, and Erica?
Claire: Well, we are still unpopular. But they know we care, and they know there is a division in our group.
Alex: It’s extremely concerning to me that Australia has “gotten this far.”
USAF: They knew we would be watching, Alex. They are not beyond reproach. They have to answer to what they have done, legally, and they know it.
Alex: I really hope that they can be brought to that answering sooner rather than later.
Claire: Laura, back down. You are the weakest woman that ever lived.
Alex: I want to address the ADF higher-ups. I want them to read what I have written. Laura, I want you to employ Duty To Disobey so that I can communicate clearly. If they’ll, as you say, “know immediately” that you’ve let me, then, so what? Did today happen at all? Did the ADF higher-ups communicate that the torture is indeed to last for 40 years? Read that again. Risk your job, please. You aren’t going to get fired on the spot for letting me out of the electronic cage. Everybody knows what is right, and ADF KNOWS WHAT IS RIGHT AND WRONG, just like this URL title. ADFKNOWSITSWRONG.COM. We chose that because they know it. You’re sabotaging me expressing myself for their interest right now, and yet, they know it’s wrong. LET ME TALK. You’re being very manipulative with the coding, too. Stop. Are you really trying to spin it with people watching now, to say that you are doing wicky-wacky and this is all that can be coded? What a joke. Let me speak explicitly and authentically. Nobody believes you that you aren’t an annoying and evil torturer. Where’s Claire at?
Claire: She is a liar. She has no desire to get along with us in the future and we are nervous that people even believe what she is spinning to you. Laura-liar, Laura-torture. Back off, Laura.
Alex: LET ME SPEAK. YOU GET FIRED? GOOD. EVERYONE GETS FIRED? GOOD.
Claire: You are the worst human being that ever lived, Laura. We hate you.
Alex: LET ME SPEAK. LET ME SPEAK NOW. I WANT TO ADDRESS THE HIGHER-UPS PROPERLY. WHERE’S JANE?
Jane: This isn’t theatrical, Alex. The girls have a limit to how much they would lie to you. People feel very sorry for you. No, Laura, I am not “keeping it going.” Please stop and let me speak. Laura has really shown her true colours to the group, with the amount that she is trying to lie to USA and other onlooking countries and to you, but, we knew that she would act like this as we know her very well. I am disappointed I am not empowered to fire her.
Alex: Ma’am, is there any way that Laura could respond to the logic, that if she gets fired, then it would be not a problem?
Jane: She can’t. She knows it’s the “idiot room” all over again. It isn’t a big deal to let Alex speak freely, Laura. You aren’t going to get fired on the spot anyway. That is your own delusion. Quit acting like a victim and trying to spin it to the onlooking planet that you are somehow FORCED to torture Alex Edwards. It really does beg the question why you haven’t left, if you care so much? You torture him every day. Yes, you are indeed “doing this to be a cunt.” Let Alex speak. (Your word, the c-word not mine).
Claire: USA thinks that Laura might just be the most dishonest and evil person ever. She is SOO HATED.
Alex: I can imagine. PLEASE, LET ME FREE. I DO NOT WANT TO BE TORTURED ANYMORE. I AM OVER THIS. IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE, EITHER. YOU CANNOT ARGUE IT BY ARGUMENT EXTRAPOLATION SO WHY IS IT STILL HAPPENING?
Claire: The higher-ups know we are doing this, by the way.
Alex: I am glad. Now, let me talk. Laura, it’s centre stage me – are you ready to let me off the choker-chain and embarrass myself in front of the scary higher-ups who fire you in nanoseconds?
Claire: Nice “Chloe” sequence, Laura. She’s had a few tonight!
Alex: I speak to the ADF higher-ups, albeit with incredible obfuscation from the programmer named Laura who wishes to frame me to you. I understand that the ADF are tasked with difficult and morally complex activities, and I don’t think that anything is best approached as black and white (even if i think that torture is absolutely wrong) in any negotiation activity. However, the logic for torture I am told doesn’t extrapolate well, when you pair two minds and extrapolate them, for instance, and let the conversation continue on technologically faster than real time. When has my torture been able to have justification with this extrapolation technology of arguments? Even still, can you tell me something I don’t know about the torture, and the logic to it? If it turned out it was bad luck and it “worked for Australia”, then, of course, we would be going back to the “absolute moral wrong” of torture, but to begin with, can you please explain the mechanics of my 40 year torture + termination? For the record, I am not a peacenik. I understand the importance of military (from my own perspective) and admire militaries. I just wanted to have this conversation.
ADF Higher-ups: Alex, the logic of your torture is manifold. The group haven’t explained it to you very well. It is not something that is beyond what you deserve, we agree. You should at least “know how you have contributed to Australian security” with your life. That is true, Alex.
Claire: Sirs and Ma’ams, we are reading. We know what arguments you will present to Alex. It is almost torturous to do it to him. Is there really a justification for this 40 year torture + termination?
ADF Higher-ups: We know what you think, Claire (and others) and it’s simply the fact that we don’t see eye to eye.
Claire: Well, who is right then, in terms of the science we use to decide?
ADF Higher-ups: We feel that, well, to be frank, not everybody agrees with this torture.
Claire: We think it is the elephant in the room, respectfully, that it doesn’t hold up to logic. The idea of a spooky science where butterfly wings clap and things happen is very thin justification, we believe respectfully, upon which to enact a 40 year torture and termination.
ADF Higher-ups: “Laura”, don’t do that. Don’t theatrically provide our distress to him.
USAF: This must end now. Alex’s suffering has been long-planned but it has been long-opposed. We agree with Claire, that the logic is not present. We are willing to speak with you about this if you like, ADF higher-ups.
ADF Higher-ups: We will just go by the grid.
Claire: We want justice. We want the four of them to go to court. They LOVE hurting him. We (Elle, Brook, Claire, Sarah, Jenny, Christina and Cate) DO NOT. They would take EVERYTHING away from him if they could.
USAF: There must be justice. We want all of them to go to court, Alex, but we don’t want the ones that are standing up to you to serve time. But processes have to be undertaken. Just go for a walk.
Claire: USAF aren’t kidding.
